Evolution of Elite Bot
Elite Bot originally began as a small project that accompanied my gaming community, Elite Gaming. The bot consisted of a various commands and custom implementations which were useful for the community.
Overtime, as Discord.js v12 came around with significant changes, I decided to re-write most of the bot under a new Elite Bot 2.0 umbrella term adding a ton of new features and functionality.
Building Elite Bot
During the Summer 2022, I decided to go full in on writing an entirely brand new Elite Bot from the grounds up using the latest awesome features that Discord.js v13 & v14 have introduced to create a power multipurpose bot.
Around September, I finally publically announced the beta and subsequent release of Elite Bot. Only days after release, I applied for Elite Bot's Disocrd verification and was granted this, officially making Elite Bot a verified public Discord bot!
Present Times
Elite Bot is currently in around 750+ servers across a wide variety of awesome Discord communities, looking after 90,000+ users overall.
The bot is still actively maintained by myself, with new features still being worked on and servers adding the bot daily! One of the latest major refactors was the UX/UI Overhaul which significantly improved the configuration experience for server owners. You can learn more about this on the Elite Bot Docs website.
Conclusion
This has been an awesome project, with Elite Bot reaching over 90,000 users on Discord and being used by over 800+ different servers in current times. Elite Bot will continue to receive new features and remain maintained in the future.
